Pre-Professional Programs

Many students come to Binghamton already knowing their career aspirations. Our pre-professional programs in health, medicine, law and education lead to acceptance into some of the top professional schools in the nation.

  • Pre-health/pre-med

Students are prepared for careers in medicine, dentistry, optometry, veterinary medicine, podiatry, nutrition, physical or occupational therapy and chiropractic medicine.

In addition, Binghamton's Early Assurance Program for early admission during the sophomore year into SUNY Upstate Medical University, Buffalo School of Medicine or Dental Medicine, and the SUNY Optometry Joint Degree Program helps take the pressure off students pursuing these degrees.
