2+2 Watson International Transfer Program

Binghamton's 2+2 International Transfer Program is open to international undergraduate students who transfer to Binghamton University to study engineering or computer science. Upon completion, 2+2 transfer students earn a bachelor of science degree from the University's Thomas J. Watson School of Engineering and Applied Science.

2+2 programs are available in these areas of study:

Note: If you have not completed the appropriate courses at your university, (see participating schools) it may take more than two years to complete your bachelor of science degree at Binghamton.

Applicants should be highly successful in required pre-transfer courses and earn the following TOEFL scores to be considered:

  • Internet-based: 80
  • Paper-based: 550
  • Computer-based: 213

Apply Now

  • Step 1: Meet with the coordinator of the 2+2 program at your university to make sure you are on track and have successfully completed the appropriate courses to transfer to Binghamton University.
  • Step 2: Complete Binghamton University's Watson 2+2   International Transfer Application (400k .pdf).
  • Step 3: Request the following documentation be forwarded to Binghamton:
    • Official university transcripts from all universities attended
    • Official secondary school transcript certifying graduation
    • Official TOEFL scores (TOEFL code: 2535)
  • Step 4: Complete Binghamton's International  Student Financial Statement (174k .pdf). Be sure an official Bank Statement is attached (copies will not be accepted).
  • Step 5: Be sure all materials submitted contain your complete contact information, including full name, date of birth, address, etc.
  • Step 6: Mail your application and all required materials to:
