Haiti Vigil

Freshman Cynthia Amoah recites "We Are Warriors" -- a poem she wrote about the aftermath of the Haiti earthquake -- during a candlelight vigil in the University Union. The vigil, hosted by Binghamton University's MALIK Fraternity, Inc., included a brief introduction of the recent crisis, a moment of silence, two faculty speakers, an open mic session for any students to share a poem or memory, and announcements of charities and organizations that are collecting aid and support for Haiti in this time of need.
