Hart Sculpture

Brian Davis, Shop Technician, in the Art Department, sculpts from Styrofoam a roughly 5-foot high sculpture of "Gronk" a cartoon character invented by late Johnny Hart, creator of the nationally published comic strip, "B.C." in the woodshop of the Fine Arts Building at Bingahmton University, September 2008. The foam sculpture was made into a mold of which over 20 hard plastic statues were poured, and decorated by local accomplished artists and displayed throughout the City of Binghamton.
