will compete for spot in conference rotation. •As a Junior (2004): Tough-luck pitcher with nine starts and a 4.40 ERA but just two wins ... held down lowest ERA of starting rotation ... had nearly 3-to-1 strikeout-to-walk ratio ... struck out five or more in five of nine starts ... allowed no earned runs in 5.0 innings against Hartford ... shut down Radford on one run in 6.0 innings ... also beat Albany ... gave up just two home runs in 45.0 innings. • As a Sophomore (2003): Top starter for Skyline College in San Bruno, Calif. ... selected to first team All-Coast Conference North ... played in 15 games with 12 starts ... went 4-5 with one save and a 2.62 ERA ... struck out 61 and walked just 13. • In High School: Top pitcher for Hillsdale High ... earned all-county honors ... was selected as Pitcher of the Year in the Peninsula Athletic League. • Personal: Born October 10, 1982 ... parents are William and Patricia ... intends to major in political science. |
