Binghamton golf leads halfway through America East Championship
Bearcats shoot 304, lead Hartford by seven strokes

First Round Scores

ALTAMONT, N.Y. - Binghamton University golf shot an opening-round 304 to stake out a seven-stroke lead halfway through the America East Championship, contested at Orchard Creek Golf Course. The Bearcats lead Hartford (311) and Boston University (329) heading into Tuesday's final 18 holes.

Freshman Zach Vinal (Syracuse, N.Y.) carded a 1-over-par 73 and sits in first place. Junior Brad Moulton (Orangeville, Ontario) is tied for second two shots back at 75. Sophomores Jeff Wolniewicz (West Seneca, N.Y.) and Aaron Ungvarsky (Wilmington, Mass.) recorded rounds of 77 and 79, respectively.
