Bearcats sign junior college standout

The Binghamton men’s golf team has received a national letter of intent from junior college transfer Joe Kunz (Webster, N.Y.). He will join the Bearcats this coming fall for his junior season.

Kunz competed at Monroe Community College the past two years. His scoring average for his first year was 76 and he had a ninth place finish at the Junior College Division III Nationals. Prior to playing at Monroe, he competed for Webster High School.

"Joe will give us an important veteran look to a very young squad this fall,” said head coach John Affleck. “He is an accomplished junior college golfer with considerable promise.”
