Bearcats in fourth place after day one of the New England Championships

PROVIDENCE, R.I.--The Binghamton golf team is in fourth place after the first of two days at the New England Championhips. The Bearcats' score of 299 trails Rhode Island (289), Army (295) and Connecticut (296). There are 14 teams in the field.

Individually, sophomore Kevin Crawford (Lockport, N.Y.) is tied for sixth place with a one over par 73. Senior Joe Kunz (Webster, N.Y.) is tied for ninth place with a 74 while senior Keith Hendrickson (Syosset, N.Y.) shot a 77 and is tied for 16th place. Freshman Jeff Wolniewicz (West Seneca, N.Y.) and sophomore Aaron Ungvarsky (Wilmington, Mass.) rounded out the Binghamton scoring with a 77 and 82 respectively.

The New England Championships resume tommorow at 10 a.m.
