McKeown directed the team's defensive effort in a 5-4 win over #19 UMBC and a 13-5 victory over Hartford. He had 10 saves in each game, including seven in the second half of the upset against UMBC. During the four-game winning streak McKeown sports a 4.47 goals-against-average and sterling .707 save percentage. Binghamton has won four straight games and is on the verge of clinching a spot in the four-team America East Championship. The Bearcats are 3-0 in conference and currently have sole possession of first place. A win against Quinnipiac on Saturday would guarantee Binghamton its first-ever conference tournament berth. |
