For Immediate Release: April 5, 2004 Contact: David O'Brian (dobrian@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6478 McKeown named America East Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week Sophmore goalie Kevin McKeown (Brewster, N.Y./Brewster) of has been named the America East Conference Men's Lacrosse Player of the Week for March 29-April 5. It marks the first time in his career that he has won the award. McKeown recorded 21 saves in two Bearcat wins this week, including 12 saves in a 9-7 conference-win over Stony Brook. He also recorded nine saves and only allowed one goal in an 11-1 win over Wagner. Binghamton (3-4, 1-0 AE) hosts UMBC on Wednesday at 3 p.m.
