• As a Sophomore (2004): Appeared in nine games as a field player and once in the goal ... shared a shutout against Stony Brook on Oct. 16.

• As a Freshman (2003): Was the team's backup goalkeeper.

• Before Binghamton: A first-team All-State selection as a senior at Owego ... posted a school-record 15 shutouts and had a save percentage of .920 as he led his squad to the New York State Class B title as a senior ... a team captain ... was also a regional All-American pick as well as an All-STAC (Southern Tier Athletic Conference) selection the past two years ... concluded his career as the MVP of the New York State Tournament last fall.

• Personal: Born Aug. 27, 1984 ... parents are Louis and Sheila Bertoni ... has yet to declare a major.
