Immediate Release: April 27, 2005 Head coach Michael Starke's team will receive a first-round bye before meeting either fourth-seeded Hartford or fifth-seeded Boston University in a Saturday semifinal. Stony Brook, which BU has defeated in the championship match in each of the last two seasons, is the No. 2 seed. The longtime SUNY rivals are on a path to meet for a third consecutive spring in Sunday's championship match. The America East champion receives an automatic berth into the NCAA Championship. The Bearcats have already established a school record for wins in a season (19), and have won a record-tying 10 straight contests. Binghamton is led by sophomore No. 1 Dan Hanegby (Herzliya, Israel), who is currently ranked No. 92 in the country. Hanegby is 25-5 overall, 20-3 in duals.
