CLEVELAND, Ohio - Binghamton (5-6) lost 3-0 at the Medical Mutual
CSU Invitational to host Cleveland State (6-3) on Friday night
at the Woodling Gymnasium. Binghamton lost by scores of 25-30,
10-30, 21-30.
Binghamton struggled offensively during the match, hitting -.009
(30-31-109). The team hit .000 percent in the first game, -.113
in the second and .070 in the third.
Junior outside hitter Katie
Brody (Vestal, N.Y.) had a team-high 9 kills and sophomore
middle blocker Jacki
Kane (Centennial, Colo.) contributed 8 kills and two blocks.
Junior setter Ashley
Meffert (Louisville, Ky.) and freshman setter Ashley
Allen (Mill Creek, Wash.) each had 12 assists. Junior outside
hitter Katie
Robertson (Ancaster, Ontario) had a team-high 7 digs.
Binghamton continues play in the Invitational with a pair of
matches on Saturday, first at 10:30 a.m. against San Diego and
at 4:30 against Niagara. |
