defeats Stony Brook in four games "This was a sweet win for us because of the two matches that we lost to Stony Brook last year," head coach Glenn Kiriyama said. "We kept up our intensity for the entire match even though they made a run in the third game." Junior outside hitter Michele Heck (Chicago, Ill./ Resurrection) posted her sixth consecutive double-double with 14 kills and 11 digs. Freshman setter Ashley Meffert (Louisville, Ky./Fern Creek) tallied 44 assists to go along with 14 digs and three kills. Freshman outside hitter Megan Hoag (Brunswick, Ohio/ Padua Fransiscan) had 12 kills, 21 digs and six total blocks while senior outside hitter Nicole Savin (Port Jefferson Station, N.Y./ Comsewogue) also posted 21 digs.
