BOSTON, MASS.--The Binghamton volleyball team (7-14, 2-3 AE) was swept at Northeastern (12-13, 4-1 AE) on Friday night in an America East Conference match in Boston. The game scores were 30-17, 30-28, 30-17.

Sophomore outside hitter Jennifer Smith (North Tonawanda, N.Y.) had a team-high nine kills to go along with 12 assists and seven digs. Sophomore middle blocker Anne Crocus (Bethlehem, Pa./ Freedom), who leads the America East Conference in blocks per game, registered four solo blocks and four block assists. Senior setter Amanda Breitfeld (Allentown, Pa./ Central Catholic) had 16 assists and sophomore outside hitter Michele Heck (Chicago, Ill./ Resurrection) had 11 digs.

Binghamton continues its New England road trip with a 4 p.m. match at New Hampshire on Saturday.
