Associate Coach Rich Conover...

On tonight’s game:

"We knew Albany was a team much more capable than their record. They had been on the short end of some tough games, and we knew to expect a battle. They played very well tonight. We lacked the defensive intensity we needed to stop them. We were scrambled on defense all night and could not stop their pentetration in the half-court offense.

On making adjustments to the offense:

"We've had game after game after game and it's hard to retool when all the time in practice needs to be spent getting ready for games. I think we need to go back to the drawing board a little bit and maybe make some changes."

On playing three games in five days:

"Everyone is a little banged up right now and it's the middle of the season, but we can't make any excuses about fatigue. This is why you play and Albany just came out a little more hungry for a win tonight."

On the upcoming game against New Hampshire:

"New Hampshire will be much the same as last year. They are post-dominated, but they also have some guards that are good shooters and can hurt you from the perimeter. Maren Matthias is very strong for them inside, so it will be another very tough game."
