Box Score

SYRACUSE, N.Y.--Binghamton women's lacrosse (0-2) got an up-close view of a nationally-prominent program Wednesday night, falling to No. 12 Syracuse (2-0), 20-1, in the Carrier Dome.

The Orange rolled to a 15-0 halftime lead and outshot the Bearcats 35-3 for the game. Sophomore Danielle Edwards (Horseheads, N.Y.) recorded BU's lone goal - an unassisted tally 17:23 into the second half.

"It was a good experience for us to see one of the best teams in the country," head coach Emily Edmonston said. "It can only help us when we get into conference play."

Senior goalie Christa Quon (Vestal, N.Y.) had seven saves for the Bearcats.

Binghamton plays at Iona Saturday afternoon at 4 p.m.
