Immediate Release: November 19, 2005 EAST STROUDSBURG, Pa. - Binghamton wrestling had eight wrestlers compete at the East Stroudsburg Open Saturday at Koehler Gymnasium. Freshman Nate Patterson (Ontario, N.Y.) had the most success, winning two matches at 149. Patterson scord wins of 9-7 and 16-4 before falling 2-0 to a wrestler from Penn State in the round of 16. Patterson raised his overall record to 7-3 this season. Freshman Chris Klucka (Vestal, N.Y.) earned his first collegiate pin at 157 pounds, ending his first-round bout in 1:29. The
Bearcats will next compete in the Northeast Duals, held in Albany,
on November 26. |
