Bearcats
beat Wagner in dual meet 38-8
VESTAL,
N.Y.--In its first home dual meet of the new year, Binghamton
recorded three pins and a technical fall to defeat Wagner 38-8
in wrestling action on Wednesday night at East Gym. With the
win, the Bearcats improve to 3-3 overall while the visiting Seahawks
fall to 0-3 in dual meet competition.
"We are happy with how we did tonight," head coach
Mike Fusilli said. "We have been putting in a lot of work
the past few weeks to prepare for the CAA (Colonial Athletic
Association) Duals next week and tonight was a good step. Our
guys were really tired from all of the practicing we've been
doing so we did well tonight."
At 141, junior Josh Ruff (Bainbridge, N.Y.) rasied his
career dual match record to 26-3 with a technical fall victory
over Wagner's Justin Ensign at the 3:33 mark. Senior Beau

in a row when he stopped Patrick Larkin at 1:11. The Bearcats'
