| Bearcats beat Mt. St. Mary's 2-0 |

Binghamton outshot the visiting Mountaineers 24-6 but for two-thirds of the game, was unable to get on the scoreboard. Mt. St. Marys played hard and frustrated us for most of the game. We've got to give them credit, said head coach Jeff Leightman. We were able to switch up our attatck and come together in the final part of the game. Mustafas goal, which came at the 60:57 mark and was assisted by sophomore forward Tatiana Mathelier (Pomona, N.Y./ Saddle River Day (N.J.) and junior forward Tracy Kasmarcik (Binghamton, N.Y./ Susquehanna Valley). From 10 yards out, Mustafa got the pass and fired the ball past Mt. St. Marys goalkeeper Naomi Campano.
Campano finished the game with 10 saves, seven of which came in the second half. Binghamton senior goalkeeper Lauren Cherry (Wyncote, Pa./ Cheltenham) made four saves. The Bearcats next game is against St. Francis (Pa.) at home on Thursday at 4 p.m. |
