Immediate Release: October 24, 2004 "We missed a couple of absolute goals," head coach Jeff Leightman said. "We just looked like we had no legs today. We had a chance to clinch and didn't perform well ... didn't get it done. Now the road is tough. We definitely need another win and even then might need some help. It's too bad." Sophomore Kristy Doerner (Shoreham, N.Y.) made her second straight start in goal in place of injured Kristie Bowers, and recorded six saves. NOTES |
