Women's swimming & diving team inks high school diver

The Binghamton women's swimming & diving team has received a national letter of intent from Kaitlyn Dameron (Schenectady, N.Y.), a diver from Guilderland High School. She will join the Bearcats for her freshman season in 2003-04.

At Guilderland, Dameron ranked first in Section 2 and 14th in the state her senior year, for six dives (229.50). She finished second in her sectional meet in 2002 for 11 dives (410.30) and finished 18th at the 2002 NYS championships (367.80).

"Kaitlyn is at the top of a list of very talented divers coming to Binghamton this fall," diving coach Chris Zoltoski said. "She has talent, drive, and desire. I am looking for her to making an impact right out of the gate. I look forward to working with her during her tenure here at Binghamton."
