Bearcats sweep Albany 7-0

Binghamton (9-10) defeated the Great Danes (0-15), 7-0, on the road on Tuesday afternoon. The Bearcats swept all six singles matches and three doubles matches without dropping a single set in posting their ninth victory of the season.

At first singles, Grace Wu scored a 7-6, 6-0 win over her Albany opponent. She also teamed with Amy Weissberg for an 8-6 pro-set win at first doubles. Weissberg improved to a team-best 17-10 with a 6-0, 6-0 win at third singles. Janine Sadaka scored a 6-1, 6-2 win at second singles and teamed with Amy Linda for an 8-2 win at second doubles. Erin Monaco and Jennifer Sussman were also 8-2 winners at third doubles. The other singles winners for Binghamton were Alexis Brill at the fourth spot (6-0, 6-2), Erin Monaco at number five (6-1, 6-0), and Amy Linda at six (6-0, 6-0).
