tennis falls to Rutgers 6-1 PISCATAWAY, N.J.--Junior Janine Sadaka (Great Neck, N.J.) won a three-set match at second singles, but the Bearcats (3-5) were defeated 6-1 by Rutgers at the Busch Indoor Tennis Center. Sadaka defeated her Rutgers opponent 7-5, 3-6, 6-0 for Binghamton's only win in the match. It was her second win since being moved to the #2 singles position. Sadaka also teamed with senior Amy Weissberg (Syosset, N.Y.) at second doubles, where the pair was defeated 8-6. Weissberg was defeated at third singles, 7-5, 6-0. Freshman Justina Hakimi (Manhasset, N.Y.) played her fourth straight match at #1 singles, and took her opponent to three sets before falling 6-1, 5-7, 6-1. Senior Kristin Jobe (Baytown, Texas) was defeated at fourth singles, 6-4, 7-6 (7-4) and sophomore Amy Linda (Bronx, N.Y.) dropped a 6-2, 6-2 decision at the fifth spot.
