Sinai, N.Y.) won the women's individual title, highlighting the Binghamton Cross Country Invitational on Saturday morning. In the team standings, the Bearcat women were third of eight teams while the men were seventh. Maine won the men's team title while Columbia won the women's race. Radzik won her second consecutive race by covering the 5,000 meter course in a time of 18:21. She finished 17 seconds ahead of Syracuse's Elizabeth Cufari. "Katie ran an awesome race," head coach Annette Acuff said. "Her time for this course was very respectable. She ran even better today than she did last week (at Colgate). Senior Stacy Kramer (Loudonville, N.Y.) was Binghamton's second runner, finishing 12th overall (19:17). Junior Taryn Menard (Cicero, N.Y.) was 22nd (20:21), freshman Elizabeth Sweeney (West Henrietta, N.Y.) was 30th (20:44) and senior Erica Angell (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) was 33rd (20:53). There were 75 runners in the women's race. On the men's side, freshman Adam Hill (Delmar, N.Y.) was Binghamton's top runner, placing 25th with a time of 26:52 for the 8,000 meter course. Freshman Connor Martin (Fairport, N.Y.), was 36th (27:42), junior Jeff Herbert (Somerville, N.J.) was 40th (27:42), freshman Ryan Shon (Miller Place, N.Y.) was 43rd (28:13) and sophomore Mike Wlodarski (Syracuse, N.Y.) was 45th (28:21). Donald Drake of Maine was first out of the 88 runners in the men's meet, clocking a time of 25:29. Binghamton is off until the Lehigh Paul Short run on Oct. 1 at 10 a.m.
