Immediate Release: October 1, 2005 Contact: David O'Brian (dobrian@binghamton.edu) Phone: 607-777-6478 Radzik places 15th at Lehigh Paul Short Cross Country Run Men's Results Women's Results BETHLEHEM, Pa.-- Freshman Katie Radzik (Mt. Sinai, N.Y.) placed 15th in the women's race, highlighting Binghamton's performance at the Lehigh Paul Short Cross Country Run on Saturday. The meet featured 45 schools, including many of the top teams in the East. The Binghamton women placed 29th, while the men were 42nd. There were over 300 runners in each race. Radzik covered the 6K course in a time of 21:03 and was the top freshman in the women's race. Her 15th place performance is also the best effort ever turned in by a Bearcat. Senior Erica Angell (Poughkeepsie, N.Y.) was 20th in last year's race. Senior Stacy Kramer (Loudonville, N.Y.) was Binghamton's second runner, finishing 99th overall (22:15). Angell was 116th with a time of 22:56. On the men's side, freshman Adam Hill (Delmar, N.Y.) was Binghamton's top runner, placing 198th with a time of 26:10 for the 8K course. Binghamton heads to the Albany Invitational on Oct. 15th. |
