Russian and East European Studies
(Undergraduate)
The cross-disciplinary concentration in Russian and East European studies
permits the student to gain a broad, interdisciplinary knowledge of one
of the most important areas in the world-Russia and Eastern Europe. Requirements
for the concentration are: two Russian or Soviet history courses, two political
science courses in the Soviet area, one Russian literature course (240,
241, or 380), and RUSS 101-305.
Students spending a semester in Moscow under the SUNY-Moscow University
exchange may, upon approval of the director, satisfy some requirements abroad.
