John R. Premo

J.R. is currently a senior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering. His hometown is Rochester, NY. While not studying or working, J.R. enjoys playing sports, especially soccer and golf. J.R. has worked in FitSpace since 2011 and has been a certified Personal Trainer since 2012. JR successfully completed a sprint triathlon during the summer of 2013.

 

Sadie Schwartz

Sadie is a senior Integrative Neuroscience major with a Health and Wellness minor. Sadie is originally from Queens, NY. This will be her third year working for Campus Recreation. She has been weight training and running for 8 years and hopes to compete in a figure contest in the near future. Sadie is a certified Personal Trainer through ACE and looks forward to motivating others with her extensive knowledge of fitness.

  

Anthony Aprile

Anthony is currently a sophmore studying Accounting and Creative Writing. Anthony grew up in Hauppauge, NY where he earned a black belt in Kempo karate and was a county champion sprinter at his High School. As a certified Personal Trainer through ACE, Anthony is excited to share his passion for a healthy lifestyle with others.

  

AISHA BOWEN

Aisha is a senior majoring in Integrative Neuroscience on the path to attaining her medical degree. During her high school years she played varsity volleyball, softball and ran track. While at Binghamton she rowed on the Binghamton Crew team. She has a special interest in health, nutrition, fitness and overall wellness - focusing on positive body imaging. Her belief is that your health is your wealth. As an ACE certified personal trainer she believes that we should all strive to attain the healthiest versions of ourselves.

 

Alexa Francisco

Alexa is a junior studying Industrial and Systems Engineering with a minor in Health and Wellness. She is from East Islip, NY where she played soccer and ran cross country and track. Alexa works in FitSpace as a Fitness Manager and ACE certified Personal Trainer. She is also a spinning instructor, and certified to teach R.I.P.P.E.D and Pink Gloves Boxing. She loves weight training, running, taking spin classes, and playing sports for fun. As an ACE certified personal trainer, Alexa hopes to help others reach their fitness goals and live healthier lifestyles.

 

Chris D'Amico

Chris is a sophomore majoring in Integrative Neuroscience and minoring in Health and Wellness. His hometown is Chester, NY, where he competed in shot put for Track and Field. During his senior year of high school, Chris lost fifty pounds and has been in love with fitness ever since. He recently trained and competed in a Spartan Race, which he plans on doing again in the near future. As a certified personal trainer through ACE, Chris is looking forward to helping people with their health and fitness goals.

 

Dominic DeMaio

Dominic is a senior majoring in Biology from Selden, NY. Health and fitness became his passion shortly after arriving at Binghamton. After he began working out he was able to add 20 pounds of muscle to his 6'3" frame in the past 2 years. In addition to being a ACE certified personal trainer, Dominic is currently a Strength & Conditioning intern for Binghamton University Athletics. Dominic strives his hardest to be the best he can be while trying to achieve his physique goals and hopes one day maybe to compete in a physique competition.

 

Julia Wright

Julia is currently a junior studying Integrative Neuroscience with a minor in Education. She is from Buffalo, NY and has competed in swimming, volleyball, and track and field. Along with being an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified personal trainer, she also holds certifications in lifeguarding and waterfront rescue. She is currently on the women's rugby and gymnastics teams here at Binghamton, and also teaches children's swim lessons. Julia is very interested in many different areas of fitness and is looking forward to always learning more while helping others along the way.

Giovanna is a second semester sophomore studying Neuroscience and Spanish. She is interested in training and educating people to help them lose weight, get healthy, and reach their goals. In her free time, she enjoys weight training, running, cooking, and learning more about fitness and nutrition. She is passionate about helping others and hopes to motive and encourage anyone interested in working toward a healthier lifestyle.

 

Darius Matalavage

Darius is currently a sophomore studying Math and Computer Science. He is originally from Buffalo, NY where he competitively competed in football, running, wrestling, and lacrosse. Additionally, he is now an avid participant in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. As an American Council on Exercise (ACE) certified trainer, Darius is eager to use his experience and enthusiasm to help others to achieve their personal fitness goals.

 

Jason Moss

Jason is currently a junior studying Mechanical Engineering and is originally from Long Island, NY. Jason is dedicated to leading an overall successful lifestyle propelled by his enthusiasm for fitness. He currently serves on the executive board of Binghamton Crew Club, has experience as a competitive swimmer and is well versed in weight training. Jason is certified in Personal Training by ACE and is excited to work with clients in achieving their fitness and wellness goals.

 

Christopher Nock

Chris is a senior studying History with a minor in Health and Wellness. He is originally from Ithaca NY where he competed in Football, Track and Field, and Downhill Ski Racing. Currently a Pole Vaulter for the Varsity Track and Field team here at Binghamton, he has an insatiable hunger for fitness. Certified through ACE, he is constantly trying to learn more and help others achieve their fitness goals.
