Project Description

Work with program participants (individuals with a disability) and their families in a variety of capacities in a holistic environment. Great opportunity to network with other professionals in the health, human services, education and alternative therapies setting.

Verde View Equestrian Center offers a comprehensive volunteer training program, innovative internship opportunities, mentoring and collaboration with regional and national organizations. Learn the professional approach to this growing field of Equine Assisted Activities and Therapies in a State of the Art facility that operates year round under the direction of the Professional Association of Therapeutic Riding International, PATH Intl' the worlds go to source for all therapeutic riding certifications and information.

Verde View Equestrian Center offers opportunities to work with horses, individuals with various physical, emotional or intellectual disabilities, their families and related service providers with collaboration to other professional Equine Assisted Actives and Therapy facilities worldwide.

Training Required:

Yes - A mandatory volunteer training is required before working with horses and riders. The next training dates are 10/12, 10/13, 10/14 2013
