A personal essay must be attached which addresses

* The difference education in CCPA makes/will make in your life, and through you, your family, organizations, and communities
* Empowerment and social and individual growth as a result of your study in CCPA
* Ways in which your education contributes to the promotion of a just social order through equity, activism, and diversity.

Applicant must be

* A matriculated student in the College of Community and Public Affairs (or be accepted for fall admission)
* Enrolled part-time or full-time in the (upcoming) fall semester
* Eligible for financial aid as determined by the Free Application for Federal Student Aid form. FAFSA forms can be obtained from the Office of Student Financial Aid and Employment. It is recommended that FAFSA forms be filed by March 1 for full consideration.

Students seeking scholarship consideration must submit the scholarship application and essay by April 1. Applications may be returned to the CCPA Dean's Office, UDC-333 or mailed to:
