The National Association of College and Employers (NACE) reports that 61.9% of new hires from the Class of 2004 had at least one internship. Binghamton students benefit greatly from internship experiences, as do the employers that sponsor them. The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development is always seeking additional internship opportunities to post on our on-line recruitment system, eRecruiting. Internships may be paid, unpaid, or offer stipends.

If you work in a health care facility or an organization that employs nurses, make your human resources staff aware of this recruiting opportunity held each semester to recruit nursing students for full time positions and externships.
Host a small (or large) group of students at your organization for a morning, afternoon or day. Introduce these interested students to the products and services of your organization. Showcase career opportunities available. Employer visits are usually conducted in January over the Winter Break. If this timing isn't conducive to your organization's work schedule we'll do our best to accommodate another time period.
