How You Can Help the Fleishman Career Center
The Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development welcomes assistance from
parents in a variety of ways:
Hire a Binghamton Student
Share Your Expertise
Participate in NYC Employer Visits
Provide Career Advice to Students
Give to the Fleishman Career Center
With your student at Binghamton University, you personally understand the quality of our students. Encourage your employer to recruit Binghamton students for internships and full time professional positions by using our eRecruiting service to post internships, summer jobs and permanent opportunities and to consider attending our job fairs. More information is on the Employer section of our website.
Love your career field? Share it! Being a presenter through Career Center's programs can offer Binghamton University students the opportunity to learn from professionals such as you. Are you involved in recruiting interns or full time candidates at your organization? Do you have a unique background and major? Do you have expertise in career-related topics such as professional development, job searching, transferable skills or other career concerns? The Fleishman Career Center can work with you to create a program that would help benefit Binghamton students. If you are interested in exploring these kinds of opportunities, please contact Holly Horn, Assistant Director for Career Development at email@example.com
In our efforts to bring students to various work sites for career exploration and networking, Career Center coordinates NYC employer visits. This is a great opportunity for organizations to develop a relationship with the University, meet interested students, and showcase career opportunities. Encourage your employer to participate and gain visibility among the Binghamton community. For more information, contact Bill McCarthy, Associate Director, at firstname.lastname@example.org.
Many Binghamton parents are also Binghamton alumni. The Binghamton University Alumni Association Professional Network on LinkedIn is an online means of connecting professionals like yourself with students or other alumni interested in your field of work. Join the Student-to-Alumni Professional Network subgroup and provide information and assistance to current students regarding their career.
In our ongoing efforts to enhance services and resources for students, Career Center welcomes financial support. Consider directing your Binghamton University donation specifically to the Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development.
