If off-campus food providers are considered for your event, please refer to the following guidelines:
♦ Binghamton University/Sodexo Campus Services must approve all food items that are served on campus by off campus vendors.
♦ Food products hot/cold must be prepared according to Broome County Health Department/ Sodexo HACCAP regulations. Sodexo Supervisor to check proper food temps and record on HACCAP form (see attached).
♦ Cold and hot storage must be maintained in accordance with the Broome County Health Department regulations.
♦ Non-perishable individually-wrapped, sealed baked goods and confections can be given away in certain areas of the campus.
♦ Perishable items will be approved on an individual basis providing the items meet the above Broome County Health Department requirements.
♦ The location of where the food is served must be approved by Sodexo.
♦ A copy of the Broome County Health Department certificate must be on file with Sodexo, including Vendors Business License.
♦ The Food Vendor must have in effect a General Liability Insurance policy with a minimum limit of $1,000,000.00 per occurrence. An insurance company licensed to do business in the State of New York must issue the insurance. Binghamton University, State University of New York and the State of New York shall be named as an additionally insured in this insurance policy.
