Madhusudhan Govindaraju joined the Department of Computer Science as an assistant
professor in September 2003. He received his master's and PhD from Indiana University.
His research contributions are in the areas of component frameworks for distributed
applications, optimized multi-threaded scientific applications for multi-cores processors,
Semantic Web Technologies for data reduction, and distributed data processing. In
2009, he received the Chancellor's award for excellence in teaching.
