Background
Denise Romano joined the Decker College of Nursing and Health Sciences in September 2023 as an assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy within the School of Rehabilitation Sciences. She comes from 25 years of clinical practice in outpatient orthopedic physical therapy in the Binghamton area and is a certified strength and conditioning specialist (CSCS).
Romano previously served as a graduate assistant for two years in Decker College's Innovative Simulation and Practice Center, while earning a doctorate of education. She is a certified healthcare simulation educator (CHSE).
