Background

Thomas Komor joined Binghamton University in September 2021 as a clinical assistant professor in the Division of Physical Therapy. He is a board-certified orthopedic clinical specialist through the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties.

He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration and a Doctor of Physical Therapy degree from Misericordia University in Dallas, Pa. Following graduation, he completed the Drayer Physical Therapy Institute orthopedic residency program in Winchester, Ky.

Komor's clinical experience includes practicing in an outpatient orthopedic setting treating a general orthopedic population. He has a particular interest in treating patients with spinal pathologies.

His teaching experience includes serving as a clinical instructor for physical therapy students and a graduate assistant in Binghamton University’s Innovative Simulation and Practice Center within the Decker School of Nursing and Health Sciences.

At present, Komor is enrolled in Binghamton University’s Doctor of Education in Educational Theory, Research and Practice program.
