Wendy Neuberger has been an adjunct lecturer in the Engineering Design Division since 2006. Ms. Neuberger was employed at IBM Corporation for over 26 years, achieving the position of Distinguished Engineer and Certified IT Architect. She joined IBM in 1983 and over the course of her career has performed a variety of roles including Systems Analyst, Information Technology (IT) Architect, Application Developer, Team Leader, Project Manager, Inventor, and Instructor. In her most recent role as Chief Architect for Distribution Sector worldwide, she was responsible for ensuring technical solutions were based on sound architectural principles, best practices and delivered client value. She used technology and innovation as a differentiator to demonstrate technical leadership to clients on a variety of topics including social networking, Service Oriented Architecture and virtual world technology.
In 2010, Ms. Neuberger joined Binghamton University in the Career Development Center,
where she is coordinating and developing a new program called Liberal Arts to Careers
Ms. Neuberger has authored a number of technical papers and articles that have been published in internal and external publications, and has presented at both internal and external conferences. She currently holds two U.S. patents. A strong mentoring advocate, Ms. Neuberger served as Corporate Counselor for Binghamton University's section of Society of Women Engineers (SWE) from 2004-2011.
Ms. Neuberger received a B.S. in Business Management and M.B.A. in Management Information Systems from Binghamton University.
