There are more than 4,600 parking spaces within a ten to 15 minute walk of the facility. 

Welcome to Campus

If you’re visiting the Binghamton University campus Monday through Friday (including holidays) you may purchase a visitor parking permit or park at the parking garage, visitors’ paid lot or at a parking meter. If your visit brings you to campus anytime from 5 p.m. Friday until midnight Sunday, congratulations, parking is free. Undergraduate Admissions visitors park for free in certain areas.


Visitor parking permits for surface parking lots are available at the posted fee at the Information Booth. Parking permits are available at the:
  • Information Booth at the main entrance to the University from 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Thursday; 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. Friday
  • Parking Services office, Couper Administration Building G-8, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday through Friday
  • Department of Public Safety, Couper Administration Building G-35, 24 hours a day


Parking meters are located in front of the Events Center. Meters are enforced from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. Monday through Friday except for those meters located at the East Gym, West Gym and the tennis courts. Between 5 p.m. and 8 a.m., Monday through Friday, University parking permits are required at meters. Meters located in the gym lots and at the tennis courts have extended hours and should be checked at those locations for hours of enforcement.
