Career Development Center: Marketing and Social Media Specialist >

DUTIES:  Effectively understand and market CDC services and mission; write emails marketing these services to fellow students, faculty, and staff across campus; develop a marketing plan and schedule to promote CDC events and service via email, Facebook, and Twitter; evaluate marketing opportunities and make recommendations to implement strategies for driving more student traffic to CDC's online resources as well as larger-scale programs such as employer information sessions, job fairs, and various workshops; develop written collateral to educate target audiences on career development and job/internship search issues. 

SKILLS NEEDED:  Exceptional writing skills; creativity, detail-oriented, well-organized and familiar with social media outlets, primarily Facebook and Twitter.  Applicant should have a track record of taking initiative and working both independently and as part of a team.
