Biomedical Anthropology faculty

Biomedical Anthropology

Seeking a program that emphasizes an evolutionary and cultural approach to understanding disease and public health? Check out Binghamton's MS degree in Biomedical Anthropology. Students of this program are encouraged to increase the breadth of their research by incorporating multidisciplinary perspectives and pursuing specializations in fields such as epidemiology, human genetics and forensics. A professional science master's certificate is also available for students seeking professional development.

Master of Music


Binghamton University's nationally accredited Department of Music offers the Master of Music (MM) and the Master of Music in Opera degree programs. Students select from concentrations such as composition, conducting, vocal and instrumental performance, and history and literature. The department boasts a symphony orchestra, wind ensemble, jazz ensemble, as well as three choral groups and an African dance/drumming ensemble. Opera students have the opportunity to work closely with the local Tri-Cities Opera to gain professional stage experience.
