Ranked the eighth best nursing school in New York state, the Decker School of Nursing provides excellent preparation in nursing education, scholarship and practice, and offers graduate level programs of study ranging from certificates to the PhD. The Decker School of Nursing graduate nursing programs are accredited by the Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education (CCNE) through June 19, 2019. The Decker School of Nursing boasts high employment rates for our graduates, with many alumni taking positions in local healthcare agencies as well as government and educational institutions. Our students are also pioneers in industry research, development and practice initiatives.

We are living in an exciting time for breakthroughs in medical research. Binghamton University's graduate program in Biomedical Engineering focuses on the application of biomedical engineering methods to advances in medicine and healthcare. The goal of biomedical engineers is to improve human health through advances in healthcare and medicine. This includes advancing our understanding of prevention, diagnosis and treatment of human injury, disease and the health complications associated with physiologic and sociologic factors such as aging, environment and diet.
