Weather & Climate

Binghamton University is located in New York's scenic Southern Tier, surrounded by river valleys, mountains and wooded hillsides.  Binghamton experiences moderately warm and humid summers, breathtakingly beautiful spring and colorful fall seasons, and cold, snowy winters. There is a wide variety of state, county, and city parks for recreational activities. During the winter months, there is usually sufficient snow for cross country skiing locally.
