Harpur Peer Advisors

What are “peer advisors? They are students like you who work in the Harpur Advising office. They have a deep knowledge of the campus, including the resources and academic support systems that can help you be successful. They can provide information on how to read your degree audit, answer question about your general education and Harpur requirements and help you understand academic policies and processes.

Peer Advisor KhadijahKhadijah Boxill

Khadijah is a senior Psychology and Africana Studies double major from Brooklyn, NY. Khadijah is president of the McNair Scholars E-Board and is starting his first year as an RA in the Dickinson Community. In her free time, she enjoys reading, writing, hiking, and watching TV. Khadijah wants to pursue a PhD in Africana Studies and become a university professor. 

Peer Advisor LaurenLauren Holt

Lauren is a senior Psychology major from Burnt Hills, New York. Along with being a Harpur Peer Advisor, she is also involved in Alpha Phi Omega, a co-ed service fraternity. In her free time, Lauren enjoys writing, reading, rowing and hiking. After Binghamton, Lauren hopes to go to graduate school for School Counseling and eventually become a high school guidance counselor. 

Peer Advisor PonleOluponle "Ponle" Illuyomade

Ponle is a senior Biology major from Cambria Heights, NY. On campus, Ponle is a TRiO mentor for Student Support Services and on the E-Board of Circle K. Ponle also volunteers off-campus at Lourdes Hospital. Neil Gaiman's Coraline is Oluponie's favorite book and in his free time, he likes to relax and listen to music. After graduation, Ponle would like to attend medical school and become a doctor. 

Peer Advisor BridgetBridget McCusker

Bridget is a Sophomore English major from Thornwood, NY. Bridget is part of the BU Scholars program and enjoys hiking and reading in her free time. She also enjoys watching The Office, Lost, Parks and Rec and Saturday Night Live. Her favorite quote is: “Be kind whenever possible. It is always possible.”  (Dalai Lama). 

Peer Advisor JordanJordan Musante

Jordan is a senior Biological Anthropology major and Education Minor from West Babylon, NY. During her time at Binghamton, Jordan is involved in many campus clubs and activities including being the RA of the Feeding a Hungry World Learning Community (in CIW), Hinman College Office Assistant, Women's Student Union committee member, and more. Jordan aspires to be a Global Health/Maternal & Child Health Epidemiologist for the World Health Organization (WHO).


Peer Advisor AnneAnne Quirk

Anne is a Junior Math - Actuarial Sciences major from Westmoreland, NY. She is involved in Circle K, Women's Club Soccer and Autism Speaks. Her favorite books are The Help by Kathryn Stockett and 19 Minutes by Jodi Picoult. After graduation, Anne hopes to become an actuary and spend her free time traveling with friends and family.  

Peer Advisor JordanJordan Sarf

Jordan is a junior Cinema major from Roslyn, NY. Jordan is involved in Tau Alpha Upsilon Fraternity and is Justice on the IFC Judicial Board. He also participates in 3v3 Intramural Basketball. His favorite movies include Good Will Hunting, The Godfather and Better Call Saul. After graduating from Binghamton, Jordan hopes to become a producer/director in the film industry.


Peer Advisor HannahHannah Wild

Hannah is a Sophomore from Melville who intends on majoring in Psychology or Integrative Neuroscience. She is involved in intramural soccer, co-rec football and Alpha Epsilon Phi. Her hobbies include hanging out with friends, playing soccer, and watching Netflix. After graduation, Hannah aspires to help people and is thinking of a possibly career in physical therapy.
