University Tutoring Services
Binghamton University Tutoring Services (UTS) provides free tutoring for Binghamton University students on a walk-in or by appointment basis. 

The Discovery Program
Binghamton University's Discovery Program is designed to give students a foundation for college and career success. The multi-year program supported by various centers on campus is designed to serve as a comprehensive support and instructional tool.

Residential Life
Residential Life and the Discovery Center provide Discovery Assistants (DA's) who are available to provide various types of student support in residence halls. Also, each community has different programs and opportunities for students worth exploring. See what's available in our various campus communities.

The Center for Learning & Teaching
The Center for Learning & Teaching is a tutoring and study skills program designed to assist students from the various academic disciplines. The CLT offers tutoring on a by-appointment basis, and during their posted walk-in hours. Tutoring occurs at various locations around campus, and often focuses on particular classes.

Fleishman Center for Career and Professional Development
The Fleishman Center provides resources and services designed around career exploration and career success. The CDC has a robust library of career and industry-related materials, along with electronic resources (including eRecruiting).

University Counseling Center
The University Counseling Center "is committed to actively providing support and assistance to students in their pursuit of personal growth, including the strengthening of their emotional, intellectual, behavioral, cultural, and spiritual development." The Counseling Center's site features basic information about services, Counseling Center sponsored programs, a list of carefully prepared reading material and counseling brochures, and valuable links to other resources on and off campus.

Office of Financial Aid & Student Records
The Financial Aid component of the office coordinates student financial aid, student loans, qualified student employment and other aspects of financial certification. Students needing advice or instructions on how to receive or apply aid should address the Financial Aid Office. Financial Aid works closely with Student Accounts.

The Student Records portion of the office maintains student records and supervises the registration and grading processes. The office directs students on how to address issues revolving around registration, their grades or other advanced issues of policy not addressed by Harpur Academic Advising.  Student Records also certifies students for graduation.

BU Brain
The BU Brian system allows you to register, view classes and schedules, update your grade options, view your exam schedule, view your student account, receive a DARS report and more. BU Brian is your first stop.

Academic Calendar
The University Academic Calendar outlines class dates, as well as several key deadlines students must be aware of.

The Student Handbook
The student handbook features several key policy documents, including our Rules of Conduct, but also provides students with valuable resources and needed articles of information. (Adobe Acrobat Required)

Academic Honesty
In an effort to maintain the integrity of academic work, Binghamton University has developed a defined code designed to deal with issues of cheating, plagiarism and other acts deemed to be dishonest in the academic environment.

Judicial Affairs
Judicial Affairs oversees issues related to student conduct, sanctioning and University policy and regulations. Judicial Affairs' role is directly linked to the Rules of Conduct (.pdf, 1.4M).
