When should I take the LSAT?

Answer
Plan to take the LSAT at least 15 months before entering law school. In most cases, taking the test in February or June before the fall application season provides an opportunity to use the summer to research law schools, and to retake the test in the Fall if necessary. Students who plan to apply to law school after graduation may want to consider taking the LSAT in June just after graduation. Most law schools will considers scores within three years of the test date. The Pre-law Advisor is available to discuss your specific questions about LSAT preparation and timing.
