What is the Credential Assembly Service (CAS)?

Answer
CAS is a central clearinghouse for processing academic records, LSAT scores, and letters of recommendation for law school. Nearly all American Bar Association (ABA) accredited law schools require that applicants use the CAS service for transcript and LSAT reporting. Your registration is valid for five years, and includes access to electronic applications for all ABA-approved law schools. See www.lsac.org. for specific details.
