    The easiest, fastest and most secure way to apply is online. Binghamton accepts The Common Application and the SUNY application.

    Please complete and submit only one:

    Common ApplicationThe Common Application is accepted by 320 selective colleges nationwide and allows you to apply to any participating school with one application. It includes the personal essay and a letter of recommendation form.

    OR

    SUNY ApplicationThe SUNY application allows you to apply to several SUNY colleges with one application. Prospective freshmen are required to complete and submit Binghamton University's Supplemental Application and a Teacher/Counselor Recommendation form. Prospective Educational Opportunity Program (EOP) applicants please review eligibility and special requirements.

     International Student Requirements 

    * Completed application to Binghamton University with $40 (U.S.) processing fee
    * Autobiographical essay 
    * International Student Financial Statement 
    * Original transcripts of all secondary coursework and any college coursework (If a transcript is not in English, a certified English translation must be sent.) 
    * SAT, ACT or TOEFL official test scores 
    * Freshman applicants must submit one teacher/counselor letter of recommendation. Transfer applicants must submit a course-by-course report to receive an official credit evaluation. 

    Educational Opportunity Program 

    The EOP admissions application process involves the Office of Undergraduate Admissions and the Office of Student Financial Aid Services. For a complete list of requirements for the Educational Opportunity Program application process.
