Outcomes
Binghamton’s ranking in the top three for four-year graduation rates among public universities in the country demonstrates our success in educating our students. Our commitment starts early -- more than 90 percent of our freshmen return for their sophomore year. Seventy-eight percent of our seniors who apply to law school are accepted, compared to 63 percent nationally. Sixty-one percent of Binghamton graduates who apply to medical school are accepted, compared to 48 percent nationally.
We have over 85,000 alumni worldwide. Whether they’re in leadership positions at Goldman Sachs or The Washington Post, or they’ve earned a place on the Olympic bobsled team, our graduates are out in the world advancing their careers, pursuing their passions and creating opportunities for like-minded alumni to excel. Our students connect with them for internships and jobs, or maybe just for mentoring, and extend the value of their Binghamton University education.
Much success comes from the students seeking out assistance of the University's Career Development Center providing services to help a student choose a major, determine a career path, learn interview skills, gain work experience and conduct job searches.
