basis with the permission of the instructor. While certain restrictions apply, this
is available to all SUNY institutions and schools.

Lyceum is a "lifetime learning association" for adult learners over age 50. It offers
fun opportunities to learn among peers.

Employee Assistance Program (EAP)
Confidential assessment, referral counseling services, and on campus wellness programs are available to retirees and their families. Or, check out the free lending library! Visit EAP on the internet or call for an appointment at 777-6655.
Check out the program at our new Events Center! BU retirees will continue to receive the same discount as active faculty/staff. You can find all the events offered by calling 777-SLAM (777-7526) or at www.bubearcats.com.
You can have your picture taken for your BU retiree card at the Office of Human Resources
in Couper Administration Building room 244.
Call 777-6284 for service hours. If your picture is still in the system, you can simply call to have a new card mailed to you.

Department of Music
The Department of Music offers a wonderful concert calendar all year long.
BU retirees can continue to use the faculty/staff discount, so find out what is being offered by searching under Concert Information or by calling 777-2592.
Take part in many aspects of Campus Recreation programming, including Open Recreation
& Aquatics, Fitness & Wellness and Outdoor Pursuits. Access is available with a valid
ID card to check-in to the Recreation Center at the East Gym during the week for open
recreation activities (basketball, volleyball, swimming, badminton). Access to the
East Gym outdoor tennis courts and track is also available. Rec Center access outside
those timeframes requires a membership. Retirees can purchase an All-inclusive Fitness
membership or Rec Only membership (at Faculty/Staff rate) for the Rec Center. Spouses
and dependent children (age 18 and over) can purchase an all-inclusive membership
at the Affiliate rate.

You will be able to purchase parking privileges at the same rate that you did when
you were employed.
Parking services in the Cooper Administration Building (AD) Ground Floor will sell the appropriate permit/registration. You can also contact them by calling 777-2279.
University Retirees' Club
All BU State and Research Foundation retirees and spouses are invited to join this club which meets for lunch at various restaurants. Whether you live here locally or have moved, this is another opportunity to stay connected with campus friends.

With your BU ID Retiree Card, you may obtain courtesy borrowing privileges. May borrow books and government documents for a 4-week loan period. 50-book limit. Emeritus Faculty retain the same library borrowing privileges as given pre-retirement. Interlibrary Loan services are only available for current University faculty, staff and students.
The Libraries' online catalog is freely available to all. Databases, e-journals, and e-books to which the Libraries subscribe are available for BU retirees and alumni guests to use on campus. Restrictions in the subscription licensing agreements for these resources preclude their off-campus use.
All New York State residents have access to the New York Online Virtual Electronic Library (NOVEL), which includes the full text of thousands of journals, newspapers and other references. All you need to log in is your New York State Driver License ID or DMV Non-Driver Photo ID. New York State residents may also apply for a library card from the New York Public Library, which can be used to access over 80 of NYPL's online databases from home.
