Established in 2020 by Avi J. Abel '98. This scholarship is open to both undergraduate and graduate students who are interested in combining studies in the School of Management (SOM) with Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention (GMAP).
Selection Criteria:
The Institute for Genocide and Mass Atrocity Prevention will review the enrolled students in the GMAP academic programs for the following criteria in order to nominate a student for this scholarship.

Graduate student |
who has completed their undergraduate degree in the School of Management and is now enrolled as a graduate student in:

Undergraduate student | who is in the School of Management with a declared minor in GMAP. |
A few other key notes:
- The recipient must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.4.
- Preference will be given to students with demonstrated financial need.
- This scholarship may be renewable contingent upon the student maintaining the criteria as stated above.

Students must matriculate in the MS in GMAP, and then notify I-GMAP (igmap@binghamton.edu) of their interest in being considered for the scholarship.
