Binghamton University will award more than 760 bachelor’s, master’s and doctoral degrees this fall. The Fall 2012 Commencement ceremony is scheduled to begin at noon Sunday, Dec. 16, in the Events Center. James Carrigg, retired since 1996 from his position as chairman, chief executive officer and president of New York State Electric & Gas Corporation (NYSEG), will receive an honorary degree and speak at the ceremony.
